i am so glad that kate mentioned to anna what we have known all along ,i think duke knew it as well. I think their love for each other overshadowed the others,eventhough they allowed themselves to loves others.once robert forgave anna she was ok and she moved on to duke. with both having seperate lives allowed them to become best friends,and a second chance was given to them later with frienship added as a bonus
