  • Essentially, it is the male spermatazoa and gametocytes that determine the sex of a fetus. Only males carry both the X- and Y-Chromosomes. Females only carry the X-chromosome. Accordingly, since female eggs/gametocytes only carry the X. It is the Y coming from the male that determines a male fetus (XY). And it is the X coming from the male that determines a female fetus (XX).

  • This is a common misconception. From the moment a child is conceived, they are either male or female. They either have one X and one Y, or two X chromosomes. They just start out developing the same way, and then after a couple of weeks, the Y chromosome releases testosterone, making the baby a male. But, at this point, nipples have developed already, which is why we have them. But guys are NOT female before they are male!!!

  • At a certain point males and females begin to develop differently - that is called sexual dimorphism. This is the reason that male mammals have nipples - because nipples begin to develop on the fetus before sexual dimorphism begins. There is no reason to say that this means all embryos are female before they turn male. You could just as easily say that all embryos are male until they turn female. But genetically, all embryos are either one or the other right from the beginning.

  • Rich is otherwise an excellent lecturer. However, he has stated a major misconception regarding all humanity initially starting out as female. From the time an egg is fertilized, it is either XY (male) or XX (female). The sex is already determined. What is true is that for the initial stages of embryonic development, there are no physical differences between males and females.

  • It is a very informative and HEALING for me to listen to this discourse.

  • 0:35:00 I have an example for that. I once refurbished a flat with my own hands and skills. Woodwork, tilling... everything. Because my girlfriend back then idnt have any connection with the work and not the dept of mind, because she was shallow, spontaneous, not gratefull for what I had done, she actually wanted everything to be better more sparkeling and not appreciative...of the work that have been done.
