When I downloaded and Tried this demo as a warrior class male. I was litterally just smiling as I slashed through all those darkspawn, killing 10 at a time with whirlwind. It was hilarious. I am so getting this.

I'm glad they numbed down graphics a bit, the PC version had insane sys requirements. Combat also looks more fluid, dynamic and enjoyable...it was the thing i liked least in Origins.

@kostas574 You will be able to import your saved game to keep the changes you made to the world in Origins, but the protagonist is Hawke now, not the Grey Warden.

I like the graphics. Though I do care more about the story and the gameplay, than the graphics. People who complain, set the brightness to a lower setting and it will be darker! :-P

@6Er6ror6 I think the darkspawn have evolved. Remember the whole story of Awakening was about the darkspawn changing. Perhaps we are seeing the results of that. I wish some books came out for this game too! I liked the books for Origins.

So far,it's gonna be the most disappointing GotY hands down. The graphics look way to vibrant & destroy the whole mood of the battle. The colors & graphics look exactly like WoW's,& I hope that's not what they're going for.

The gameplay looks way to hack n' slash,& you can tell right off the bat,that they're throne appeal to novice RPG players. Really Laidlaw? Stick to your roots.

First time i watched DA:O i didn't like the graphics and the combat but when it came out and i played it was amazing, and i'm back to that point before DA:O i'm unsure about the graphics and gameplay but i know when i play it, its going to be a great game with a great storyine etc because Bioware know how to attract their audience

I do hope that people realise that they're showing the console version. Judging from the interface setup, I'd guess xbox 360 version. Which will be the least graphic intensive version. And considering I still play and enjoy games like the Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale series. Graphics don't mean much too me as long as it looks decent.

I admit the environments seem a little bland, but then again this is the console version, and it's still not coming out for another month..
