A lot of soul in this rendition of this beautiful composition. The melody and chords give the song a dark and emotional beauty. What a voice and sung with passion. I usually hear Jazz vocalist sing this or Jazz instrumentalists play it at medium or fast tempos. This slow version by Lanza, which I'm sure was the original tempo intended for the song and who is an operatic style singer, is one of my favorites. Thanks for posting!
