1) Who is the servant? SERVANT OF WHOM?
2) Who raised Jesus from the dead?

The problem is that I really DO know the Bible, and hope I don't sound overly you know what, but when I say I do know the Bible, I mean I REALLY KNOW IT VERY WELL.
So it bugs people when they say "the Bible doesn't say" and in a flash I say:
YES IT DOES!
And there is the scripture in a flash. It really BUGS them.
You don't see the obvious, WE REALLY ARE BIBLE STUDENTS AND DEVOTED OUR LIVES TO BE SUCH!

There is ZERO historical proof that early 1st century believed anything and professed anything other that Jesus the >SON< of God.

Re the use of "god" & "gods" by John:
It's clear that John defined a different kind of usage that the Trinitarians cannot handle - and hence that is the source of John 1:1 arguments.
John is quite happy to describe Jesus calling the Jews "gods' Jesus quoting Ps 82:6 - also the use of only-begotten-god and Thomas, is in line that, John has no problem saying "my god."
Only you try to read the Trinity into, does it become and issue.
Moses is god, Satan is god, Jews gods & "sons of Most High."

HEY CUSTOM, Here is proof that Jesus is God. I want you to read John 5:37-47 and take notice to 37,38 and then go to v. 45-47. NWT-v. 46: " in fact, if you believed Moses you would believe me (Jesus), for that one (Moses) wrote about me (God). The NASB says it basically the same way. v. 47: " but if you do not believe the writings of that one (Moses), how will you believe my (Jesus) sayings (words). Moses wrote about God-Yes? So here is your proof! There is no disputing these scrips.

And in 1 Thess. 4-Paul was talking and giving a desciption. What are you trying to prove-that Jesus was Michael??? Neither scriptures here prove any such thing. As a matter of fact in the whole chapter of Matt 5, proves Jesus' equality with God and His Deity. Read it slow and you will see.

Look up "voice" and you will come across John 5:27,28 - why you not find this I put down to UNWILLINGNESS?
"And he has given him authority to do judging... Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear HIS VOICE."
It doesn't say they will hear an archangel's voice but JESUS' VOICE.
So they may get surprised if the don't hear JESUS' VOICE and that of an ARCHANGEL?

There is only ONE archangel mentioned in the Bible, which makes sense because there can only be one CHIEF-ANGEL. Jesus even SPEAKS with Michael's VOICE.

@customanalogue If people would research the history of why the epistles were written -- they would know that Col 1 was written specifically to put an end to the heretic teachings that disclaimed Jesus' diety..The Jews of the day considered Jehovah to be first born of creation -- therefore all readers new Paul was claiming Jesus is Jehovah the pre-eminet one. No mention of the Holy Spirit, no Trinity defined. And what is "deity" in any case, not a word used here, Nicene Fathers defined the Trinity. Why did John have Jesus says that his Father as "greater than I". And Moses was a god too, so were Jews.

That is clearly answered in scripture. Jehovah created ONE son, hence ONLY-begotten, then the Son was used to create ALL things. But the Son did NOT create the Father, the Father created the Son.

One scripture has fascinated me PERSONALLY - not WT or anything. Here goes, just asking what you think:
"And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven with the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. And he seized the dragon, the original serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years."
An >ANGEL< bound Satan?
No name is mentioned. But in my mind IF indeed Jesus is Michael, this would have to be Michael.

Angels (alot) were given alot of authority, period. Example-I am a prison gaurd that has the keys to lock all inmates up. I as a prison gaurd was given the authority to bound and chain our worst inmate. The Warden gave me the authority and just supervised. Look Custom, we can go on all day. JWs are genuinely sincere in their belief, just as sincere as you would claim to be. They are down-to-earth, know how to have a good time without doing things that would violate their conscience - some have the wickest humour without retorting to using bad language. Believe, that 's quite an art.
BUT we are a minority. We are an easy target, so easy to demonise. Try find similar anti-Catholic websites. NOW, do they have some things in their closet, whoa! Yet I always treat them respectfully.

I have the "reasoning book" with me now and it uses Daniel, Thess. Jude, and Rev. to say it is reasonable to think that Michael the angel is Jesus. So get off your high horse. Is this all you got? I am a prison gaurd and had an altercation with an inmate, without judging him in an abusive way, I said," may the Warden "rebuke" (reprimand) you. This questions about WHO is Christians is an interesting one.
They must be the ones Jesus regards as HIS.

That to me steps over the line, all we have a right to do is to point to the requirements of the scriptures and ASK the person IF they are living up to it.
THEY must examine themselves.

Basic question, WHO speaks with the VOICE of an ARCHANGEL and WHY?

Lord is Jesus and the commanding call is Jesus, and with the voice of an arch angel is Michael, who is really Jesus, and with Gods trumpet, who is God blowing His own trumpet. @customanalogue Lets break another down.-NWT-Jn. 1:1,2.v.1 "in the beginning the Word was." Word describing Jesus-Yes?? v.2- "this (one was in the beginning)with God." "one" describing Jesus-Yes?? It is very clear in v.1 that the Word (Jesus) was the begginning-alone. And then we go to v. 2 and see that He/one (Jesus) was not alone. v.2 contradicts v.1 and yet you see thru the WTS eyes and mind, that there is nothing wrong here. Man, open your eyes!

Well, this verse says it all, but I will hold your habd on this one as well! "all things"- means "all things"-not some things, like from the time man was created, it says "all things." Now the "him" describes Jesus-Yes?? "not even "one " thing." not even one things means-not one thing. So, v.3 validates v.1 Word=Jesus=begginning=alone= God= beginning.

I just want to let it know I have heard all the JW bashing that you can dish out.
I love Jesus, but I am not "in love" with Jesus.
Again I will try not to be condescending, but there is a difference between the two. It comes down to not allowing ones emotions to run riot - I HAVE been "in love" and it is intoxicating. But reason just gets thrown out of the window.
We end up with banal accusations about each other intelligence, and showing little intelligence while doing so. Ironic isn't it?
