  • this is my favorite OSI song... so amazing, HEAD, Hello Helicopter and some others come close.. but one time while tripping on LSD with my girlfriend we listened to Free a few months after it was released (and listening to it 5 times a day) and we had a visualizer on (Milkdrop) and... wow, the song now will always have new meaning for me with the most TRIPPIEST production especially on vocals.

  • No worries mate! Im not too much of a fan of their newest material like the incedent, but Fear of a Blank planet, in absentia are my fav albums. coma divine is a nice live one too! Glad you enjoyed! Loving the Devin Townsend stuff too at the moment and vanden plas seraphic clockwork album

  • Is it weird that I LOVE OSI but dislike Porcupine Tree? I've listened to just about every studio production from both bands and Porcupine Tree doesn't seem to work for me.

  • Very Nice. Thanks for posting!

  • thanks ! check out the new video for Radiologue too !

  • OSI was started and formed by Jim Matteos, fyi. It was his idea, his side project. But as time when on during the song writing process of the first CD, he liked the input of everyone, so he went with it. They were going to get a singer, but he liked how Kevin sounded, so he kept it. But OSI is the brainchild of Jim Matteos (Fates Warning).

  • this song is fucking amazing

  • Hey, I noticed at the start of the video you call the band "Office of Strategic Influence." Just so you know , that's not the band's name. It's "OSI." The first album was called "Office of Strategic Influence." Kevin Moore has said this in interviews. After "Free" was released, he said his plan was to create different meanings for the abbreviation OSI with each album, but decided against it. Sure, we know OSI stands for "Office of Strategic Influence," but the band's real name is OSI.

  • OSI is one of my favorite bands, too.

this song in particular is fucking brilliant. so melodic...

  • My favorite from this album, which was'nt as good as the first.

  • I actually much prefer Free to the first album. And I really LOVE the Re:Free... Maybe i am in the minority though

  • I found the first OSI album grew on me faster, but the second one I liked more with time.

  • Just bought Free and at first it appears stronger IMO.

  • I believe the second album was more controleld by moore and ...whats his face, t ha singer. Portnoy kind of took a step back and let OSI be what it was. Correct me if i'm wrong.

  • Moore is the singer. JIm Matheos from Fates Warning plays the guitar parts.

  • Im glad to see im not the only one who loves this song and this band.

  • Mike Portnoy's arrangments for O.S.I. are amazing theyre simple and they fit amazingly well

  • I guess Kev & Jim told him what to play on album... I don't really think Portnoy fit well in OSI... Harrison do a better job than Portnoy...

  • @zeroxrubio While I agree, Free is my favorite album and I found Blood to be subpar at best, and I ADORE the self-titled and free, with free being my favorite. Kevin Moore is the greatest Lyricist and Producer in the business.

  • @WindKun Blood is superb, so is Free and OSI 1... Free is such an energic and powerful track, I love it... I really can't tell which album is better!

  • @dtgodportnoy I'm not saying that they arrangements doesn't fit... it's his personality...

  • kevin moore is the singer right?

  • Right, he's the singer.

  • @dtgodportnoy and keyboardist.... and lyrical mastermind (as all of DT's BEST SONGS had been written by Kevin Moore)

  • this is band is incredible! There's something interesting (weird) about Kevin Moore's songs but I love them! :)

One of my favorite songs is Bigger wave!

    Thank you for the vid!

  • This is my FAVORITE OSI SONG!!
