  • WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED? Japan landed right out side!

  • Beautiful! What a load of fucking bullshit!

  • So basically reformation of Pangea will occur?

  • Very awesome movie!

Even if the accuracy declines far away from our time, you still catch the drift.

  • If we want to find out more about the dinosaurs and what happened on ancient Earth, we have to look on Antarctica.

  • so to sum up. earth will look like a mess

  • "Coming in for a landing at Sydney Airport."

Wait a minute, Australia is in the wrong place!!! AAAAAH!!!

  • i thought 200 million years...

  • It looks like a bowing horse with horns at 2:13

  • Novopangeae

  • wow that was awesome

  • bullshit

  • lol.pangea comeback tour in the future

  • applauding a link to this video I found in the journal World Knowledge and bothered with Polish and congratulations again

  • So... Portugal and Spain will be the new Arctic?

I think the current disposition of the continents is the most beautiful. :)

  • Nevermind, I found my country. Not gone ^^

  • My country Norway was there for so long then it just disapears in the future :l dam

  • 0:49 North America took a piece of Russia lol! They were like let's be friends..SIKE!

  • Question- Why is the Americas going to fuse with Africa?

  • @shinokiba Continental Drift and Possiblilty

  • I know how to fight in war. The military is stupid. Get something large or blow up a little... or big shelf of land, this will cause a tsunami! use earth to your advantage military!

  • cool cant wait ;)

  • sooo..ireland won?

  • WOW! The fastest 650 million years of my life. XD

  • They aren't gonna shift apart then reverse and then reform they are gonna shift and then present day California will be next to japan

  • The song is Morgenstimmung - Peer Gynt by Grieg

  • Who else saw Jesus appearing at 1:09 between the Americas and Australia/South Africa?

  • In milloins of years people will look back and say "wow earth was really messed up."

  • Thats weird.. the climate never changes on the different sections of the earth...

  • cool.. new york gets attached to nigeria

  • If you think THIS is interesting then you need to consider what the Impact and Exit Event theory has to say. The theory is a facinatingly new concept which adopts and refines Plate Tectonics while acknowledging the possibility of some of what is in the above video. In my opinion the impact and exit event has expanded our understanding of what causes plate tectonics and the driving force behind them, and what is likely to happen to Earth in the future. Well worth a read.

  • why does america start moving back to europeafricasia? instead of keeping going to japan and china?

  • India : "Dont move Asia im coming in.."

Austrelia : "Wait for me i will come from the side..."

    Asia : "Bring it ! "

Europe and Africa : "We will do our thing over here "

Americas :" yeah we are getting as far away as posible from that continental orgy"

  • @guyba7

    00:51

North America: "Fuck, I forgot the earth is spheric! I just hit Asia! Reverse direction, dude!"

South America: "Yeah, nice idea getting away as far as possible, moron!"

  • :50

yay Antarctica isnt all gay and frozen anymore, HUG ME PENGUIN BROTHERS!

  • @Chikken28 yay

  • how u know this?

  • @612AMMAR612 your are an average dumbass 15 years old fuck, or a 7 year old kid.

  • @shoshanish have u ever tried licking nuts?

  • crap, cities will probably get destroyed

  • @dasacker3000 human's wont even exist in a million years

  • @kyleisreallycool maybe maybe not but when the sun becomes a red giant, then we all die

  • @dasacker3000 when the sun becomes a red giant human race will have been extinct for billions of years.

  • @kyleisreallycool how could it hav been extinct?

  • @shoshanish the human race is fail

  • what will happen to the world maps if the continents change?

  • @fairchildtvfan the maps will change o_o

  • wow that would be convinient.. id save alot of money on plane tickets!

  • music?

  • Looking forward to Pangea 2.0.

  • Starts With Being One Contenant

    Ends With Being One Contenant

  • what's the music?

  • well its not the future continents ive seen pictures of but the theory does make sense. cool video

  • yay!! plane tickett should be less in the future...

  • i dont know why but im afraid

  • @612AMMAR612 I feel the same way and this sorta creeps me out. But it is amazing!

  • this is not gonna happen. hate people sitting and guessing this. it's not like anyone will say "you were wrong".

    Fake fake fake

  • Needs more studies.

Nobody is sure of this, and difficulty in predicting geological processes.

    Though, good clip

  • Needs more studies.

Nobody is sure of this, and difficulty in predicting geological processes.

  • man how does it happen i love my world

  • "And Australia commended, HELLO THAR CHINA!"

  • The Bible didn't say nothing about this, so it must be FAKE! It was Jesus moving the continents with his teeth...

  • What's the song? It sounds familiar.

    :-)

  • why is everything moving to 1 point again?

  • After so many million years from now, what will happen to our bridges which connect to some islands? Won't they stretch and then break and we'll have to rebuild the worlds most glorious bridges.

  • @jjayden98 most likely, but it will be like less than 100 years that any changes will be noticeable

  • omg Philippines will be crash down with austrailia and china lol

  • how do u know what the future is going 2 look like

  • Its kinda weird that it starts together the ends together. But what about 500 million years into the future will it seperate again or it just be all gone? Plz some one remeber this question in 500 million years.

    /thanks.

  • In 250 Million years it'll be an earth without borders... beautiful message!

  • @esiosan Terrible just terrible, now we'll have to build a giant fence all the way along the eastern seaboard. Plus to go swimming in the ocean have to go all the way to west coast. Somedays i'm glad i won't live to see this world.

  • I love this animation! Thank you!

  • What's the song please tell me it's cathcy and it's a very good video alas in the future we shall once again unite!

  • It's amazing how this is all the way through the same planet, yet every era except for the ones around the present are like an alien world to me. Imagine what life would be like if the supercontinent existed today - It might even be a more peaceful world.

  • Oooh... You can predict the world?

  • haha, It's time to throw this trash theory in the bin. Earth obviously grew.

  • @EskolainenKarma what makes you be so sure?

let me tell you it is not about what people like it is about facts as for now this theory is the best one we got so far, so it remain so until the expanding earth theory is proven to be more accurate then we can talk!

  • @LebaneseNostalgia well, I'm not the guy you asked or nothing, but what makes me agree with him is that the continents fit together on the pacific side as well as the atlantic.

  • @tranceemerson they fit together because of the volcanic activity in the sea, google "Mid-Oceanic Ridges"

  • @LebaneseNostalgia I'm not sure how volcanic activity in the mid oceanic ridges could cause that to happen. maybe you could explain that to me.

  • @LebaneseNostalgia I think he was being sarcastic.

  • @EskolainenKarma then i guess its just a cowinky dink that the continents look like they fit together like a puzzle?

  • @EskolainenKarma Yes and in my blog next weekend 26/27th Feb I'll explain it!

  • @EskolainenKarma

Unfortunately for the expanding earth theory, it's been around about as long as continental drift, and has always has modern technology as it has become available, just like the rest of the sciences. It's still a theory, but a not a very plausible one. While trying to answer a 'problem' like subjection with a perfect answer, they only raise a huge number of questions. While the universe might be expanding, Earth probably did not double its size in less than 2000 million years.

  • @EskolainenKarma Continental drift is measured directly using sophisticated satellite instrumentation, like laser interferometry, and has been so for decades.

  • @thunderizers

    atlantis didnt exist

    it exists in mythology.

  • i cant wait for 1:11 ! that would be swell ay?

  • We are one World !

  • At 0:48, East Antarctica and West Antarctica split up, that's amazing. East Antarctica moves towards India, while West Antarctica stays besides South America.

  • o were learning this in class :)

  • @totallycool61

    Are you enjoying it? :p

  • @totallycool61 My class is too.

  • its not there because hawaii was created by volcanoes, moving plates caused the volcanic rock to spew up cool forming islands..

  • The process of continental drift--part of plate tectonics--is driven by currents in the semi-liquid upper mantle. Where these currents diverge, plates divide and upwelling mantle magma creates new sea floor crust; where these currents converge, plates collide, forcing the most dense of the two plates down into the mantle. Continental rock can't be forced down--a collision between land masses raises mountains.

  • This is an excellent rendering of history and future of continental motion on this planet. The original data and a lot of the work done can be found if you research the Paleomap Project. Pangaea, which coallesced about 320 million years ago, was just the latest supercontinent; we know of at least two more preceding it. The version of the future modeled here describes the next supercontinent, Pangaea Ultima.

  • you idiots...

btw nice vid, i vote LIKE for it!

  • Hey all you slaves of academics here on youtube who worship big-money academia, and who are attacking me for my comments on how pathetic and non-empirical plate tectonics pseudo-science is, why dont you watch this /watch?v=gu135BT7mA0&feature=related before you continue your uninformed attack.

  • What's the music?

  • E. Grieg - Morning Mood

  • If the Expanding Earth Theroy is Correct then how did the first Cambrian life develop in the OCEAN???

  • @TerraDepicter, even IF your quackery you call evolution was right, your claim here could be in-line with expanding earth, in fact, why do you bring up this claim, what does it have to do with refuting expanding earth theory?

  • If the expanding earth theroy is correct than how did the ancestors of modern life live in the ocean?

  • @TerraDepicter, first explain to me why there is so much C14 all over (in soil, etc.), and then I will discuss wacky evlutionary ideas with you.

  • @AntimatterRadio my god it's all so clear now...yes, there must be lots of money in plate tectonics...probably most of the millionaires in the world owe their riches to supporting the plate tectonics theory.

either you're just trolling or you sniffed too much glue back in school

  • nobody actually knows when the world will end

  • noobs! the world isnt gonna end in 2012! it will in 2025

  • really intresting

  • and what would happen to the earth without the arctic and antarctica at the bases. no place to reflect the sunlight? by the way, was the movement of the land drifted by the current of magma. please answer.

  • does the earth encounters many many ice ages?

  • Up to 6 Ice ages that are known or theorized. Constant earthquakes and volcanoes are the result of continental drift on the magma. Sea levels are predicted to rise as the caps melt. But we already know that areas of England and sinking while Ireland is rising up due to the movement of the Tec. Plates.

  • Well, technically we're still in an ice age now known as the Quaternary Ice Age we're just not in a glacial period, which is what "ice age" colloquially means.

But yeah, like Parabol0086 said, there's only been up to 6 (IIRC, 5) but they can last for tens of millions to hundreds of millions of years. Glacial periods, OTOH, IIRC, tend to last just tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of years with interglacials having about the same length.

  • there's an error, where is atlantis at 0:33, atlantis exsisted

  • lol atlantis :p

  • does this mean all continents start up as a pangaea and split up, and come back together again?

  • I call it New Pangaea!

  • why did all the continents start at the south pole?...it has to go back farther than that this planet is older than that

  • the earth was sooo ugly back then

    lolz

  • so were many ppl

  • not really ugly... i think it's about the error of the maps at that time... :L

  • Very nice continental drift projection video! :)

  • How was this model made?

  • well the process will keep happening if earth is still a planet in that amount of time. then 500 million years after that there will be new continents, nations, wars, and so on.

  • I like our nations :<

  • TunaWilson, don't tell me that you needed this video to notice that. Poor you. You MUST be from USA or England :)

  • ah so at one point south america and africa were one continent that split into 2, you can actually tell they would fit together if you look at a world map today.

  • OMG... your comment was soooo boRING...

you should try sucking more Llamas, they reduce the risk of cancerous boring comment disease

  • @TheReasonWhyGuy

    shut the f*ck up dude

  • @MrDushbag1234 Could you possibly be anymore boring... I'm mean really, what the hell do you think you sound like ;P

  • o_O

  • AWESOME

  • what is the name of this song??

  • Wooow ª love you

  • Our science teacher has shown us this video like four times!

  • Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow!

  • Great video about earth geological times and plate tectonics...well done

  • we're going too be one contenent again?

  • yep :) but i dont think there will be human to see it by then

  • @djscoloredcorral Theoretically yes, it's been named Pangaea Ultima. Also called Pangaea Proxima,

  • @djscoloredcorral Theoretically yes, it's bee named Pangaea Ultima (also called Pangaea Proxima, Neopangaea, or Pangaea II)

  • @djscoloredcorral

Theoretically yes, but we still don't know what will happen or not. This is a theory but a theory is a prediction, and its also an hypothesis.
