@j2201987 this is not their fault, there are laws that force to do so. if you want, contact your representative and express displeasure with current copyright and patent laws. I think Google saved Youtube. youtube company was smaller, if it had to pay Viacom and other copyrightist, youtube might have bankrupted or closed. Google is much larger and have enough capital and contacts.

@Pys3n If your browser is Mozilla Firefox, you can download an add-on called TubeStop and it prevents the videos from playing automatically, which incidentally eliminates the ads. That's been my experience. =)
