Hi, No it's not because your hair is fine. I normally find it works better on finer hair because it does have the weight of the hair pulling the curls out. Try blowdrying your hair with ghd Maximise Mousse and when it is fully dry lightly mist ghd Creation spray on to the hair. Never over saturate the hair, the hair should be dry before you put the styler onto it. Creation Spray does contain a thermal protector but i would reccommend using a seperate one for full protection.
Lovely. The girl is a doll. Like a porcelain doll. And her hair is perfect. Therefore the curls will be gorgeous too. I liked your simple technique to twist the iron to make the ribbon curl. But is it easy to do myself? Could you please make a tutorial doing it on yourself, so that we can see better the angle handling the iron
My GHD and GHD products arrived today, you make this look so simple I can't wait to give it a try. 1 question though - do you need to straighten your hair first before curling it? Also her (your daughter???) hair is just the most gorgeous colour where does she get it done? I've had some recent disasters with my blonde and this is just beautiful : )
love it. i've always wondered how to get those kind of curls. i've been trying but i never thought about shaking them out so i always got those shirley temple curls. i'm too old for that now. lol
Thanks for this video! I just got my ghd, and love it, and love that i can do these awesome curls! I love the natural look it has after shaking it out instead of that goldy locks look! WONDERFUL
Yes you do, it's not hairspray but creation spray by ghd that you lightly mist onto the hair and work it through so it is dry, then use the styler. It helps to keep the curls in a lot longer. It also has heat protection in it so you know the hair is protected.
which ghd iron is this?

My hair is very fine and for some reason this does not hold. Is it because it is fine?? Thanks

This looked so neat and so awesome that I decided to do it myself. :)
I did mine pretty much the same way as in the video and it looked great, but I ended up feeling much like a poodle. :(
I think that I might be VERY used to what I look like with straight hair...

It's a product called creation spray by ghd to help keep the curls in longer. It does have some heat protection too.
