Battle Sail! The schooner Lynx flying wing-on-wing

I think y'all are blind or miscounting sails. One sail is pointing starboard, one sail is pointing port, and he's going straight downwind. Once he got tired of that (off video) he brought the sails back to their normal configuration and turned toward us to start firing cannon.
