My opinion on the Yu Gi Oh series.

Yu Gi Oh: Holy fucking shit! THIS IS AWESOME. It's card games, but to the next level! Cmon, Yami Yugi is fucking awesome, so is Yugi! I can't WAIT until the next series!

Yu Gi Oh GX: Uhh...an academy for card games, pretty cool but, where the FUCK is Yugi and the original gang. Oh well...at least this Jayden kid is somewhat cool! I hope the next series is going to be even better, and please put Yami Yugi in it!

@MistySerenity no other show will ever come close to pokemon's formula. I mean many shows have tried anime and non-anime, so far pokemon is the only show that can make it work. Yugioh should just die already it should have at the end of the first series instead of hopelessly continuing in an effort to promote trading cards. Pokemon, while it might be doing the same thing only with video games, still has a mildly decent plot and the games kick ass! No one wants to play a simulated card game!

It's Most likley a boy and should be that way. although I do agree. Lame character design for sure. But unless they have a lead female that is Yugi's daughter. I'd rather jump of a bridge then live to see what horrible girl they'd come up with to lead the show. she'd either be a goofy tomboy whom all the boys want to sleep with, a busty knockout that looks like she should be at the salon rather then in a duel. or a bubbly ditz with huge pink hair. none of these choices seem appealing to me.
