@334683171014 PIB can be found in the form of rat glue or butyl rubber sealant, which is found in many hardware stores. Usually it's in a pure enough form to be used without any processing.

@334683171014 From what I've seen, people generally add equal amounts of motor oil and PIB, so the oil would act as the plasticizer (which kind of confuses me). I'd recommend 92% powdered HE, 4% PIB and 4% motor oil. Of course, if you made nitroglycerin and mixed it with something like PETN in a 7:3 (70% PETN) ratio, you can get some really energetic mixtures.
