  • He actually messed up on the last one. The correct answer is positive 3, not negative 3. He lost a minus in the denominator. You can also see the mistake when you graph this function on Ti-84 when it is clearly shown that as x goes to negative infinity the function approaches positive 3, not a negative 3.

  • @txxli @YaStrange1 no since you're dividing 3x by x so the x cancels out

  • actually its going to be a horizontal asymptote, saying tangent i think implies your talking about a line that originates from a curved line, also the horizontal asymptote in the first problem will actually be the same as negative infinity also.
