I had two gerbils exactly the same as the black one and the sandy coloured one, the black one died two days ago she went blind and lost her balance alot and went bald :( I was wondering if anyone knows what it could have been because the sandy one is perfectly healthy and 3 years old :s

I got my two male gerbils a few weeks ago, but since last week or so, they been sleeping a lot o_o. Anyone know how to get them playfull again? They chew up toiletrolls within 5 min, so that wont last long.. Lol. One of them is a fanatic chewer, so I really gotta find him something so he'll stop chewing at all the plastic x.x.

try those pieces of treated wood at the pet store is like these colorful pieces of treated wood that they chow on to trim there theeth mine wood lasted 1 year then agian i had 10 pieces of wood in there haah

no. my gerbils LOVE sunflower seeds, they always sneak out of their cage just to eat the bird's sunflower seeds o_O

Lol, what beautiful colours, u have a nice colourful ilttle family there. I have a grey, brown and gnger one. The bath seems lie a good place for them to play. ^_^

You mean it lasted a whole night?! lol. The good thing about my hamsters is that they take a lot longer to get trhough toys haha (keep me awake on their wheels though haha)
