Mr Bogangles was a song about a guy (Mr Bogangles) who was in jail but still loved to dance. I supposed it could be interpreted that even though he was in jail he was still happy and he kept his "happiness" by dancing. Look up the song Mr Bogangles and read lyrics and compare them with Tori's and it will make sense

i'm portuguese and the word "saudade" is what this song is about. there's a tradicional portuguese music style called fado and most of fado songs are about saudade. You should try to find some! it's really heart-crushing but beautiful...
Beautifully done, I had to re-watch it a few times because through out in the lyrics something would catch my ear and then I'd go off in thought about it. It really does bring things up within you.
