well you cant really say that, ive a subaru impreza and a 2000w Vibe CBR EVO-V2 15" and it rattles like a mother. it just depends on the car really, im going to have to get a load of sticky rubber strips and put them in places. dynamat more than likely wont even work
bass junkies fiat panda is one of the loudest cars on the street they won 2nd in the world finals i think, and for one amp and 2 subs i think its pretty good, its only spl but loud non the less
This was my first ever system, First Cheap car so its a driver about. ;)
However, yes box could of been louder, but not twice as much, Unless your going to design one box for a certain test tone which only is going to be loud if your gonna drive around doing burps all day long.
well iv always been a sealed person myself, my liking os street bass opposed to spl drove me that way altho iv recently heard some systems that have changed my way of thinking, rich from vibe has built a new shape civic with 4 fly15's in a slot ported install and its insane, and for drivers that only cost less than a mc'donalds i think its somthing to be proud of
Its amazing how sometimes the cheaper stuff can sound really good. I have the Cheap Pioneers, 80 quid a pice and i can flex windows with them, i have 4 of them.
I know of a guy who has 12 Sony Explodes in his little rascal van, MAN they are loud, however the loudest i've ever heard to date was Iceman's van, (Ian Pinder) man his got 6 15's orion Hcca 15, and dham do those DROP! in total he has 86 Speakers in his van and man its the loudest thing i ever heard.
why a sealed box?

rubbish car, badly designed rubbish box could be made twice as loud with one sub and a tuned slot ported box

soufeastlondon 4 years ago
about 400-500$per sub + box and amp
muuhhaahhh 4 years ago
Ported enclosure would make you hit the lows that the sub is made for, sound fooking loud though i bet.
