  • I wanted to get my hands on this magazine so bad, to see Whitneys pics/article. Internet lead me to local "Hydroponic" stores, and I naively searched them on my work P.C., and called them from my work phone. Nobody had the mag, and pretty soon I was getting referrals to local head shops. Like a dope, I called some head shops before realizing it. Meh, no big whoop. I still wish I could have the mag, b/c the website shows the interview, but few pics.

  • Where is the hottie please?

  • Fantastic! Congratulations to you!

  • Wow that's so cool. Congrats!

  • you go girl!

  • awesome!! congrats

  • Is that a magazine about growing pot? I'm not sure I want to access the website... that stuff is illegal here :/

  • @InvisiMan2006 I just checked. It's not.

  • @vivalabeavaaa would you mind posting the web address? My search results are bringing up some questionable content that I'd rather not deal with. Thanks.

  • @InvisiMan2006 myhydrolife[dot]com

  • @InvisiMan2006 question; should U allow medication to be 'illegal'

  • @treemarble If you are referring to pot, then I believe it should be a controlled substance. I had several high school friends who ruined their lives on drugs, and marijuana was their gateway drug. As for its medicinal use, I believe all the evidence is anecdotal and I haven't come across real studies which prove its effective, but there is evidence which shows it causes harm.

  • @InvisiMan2006

All the studies that show cannabis is harmful have or were funded by the cotton & pharma industry who would be the biggest losers to cannabis.

Alcohol is the worst drug know to man...

Boze you lose, Dope there's hope!

  • @moviematcanada Not true. If you SMOKE it, then there's a lot of harm done to your lungs and heart to begin with. I'm sure there are benefits, I don't doubt that, but I believe people on pot just want to get high as there are other, safer alternatives, to pain and nausea relief. Trust me, I've had chronic illness and pain so bad I couldn't move, but I didn't have to resort to getting stoned to find relief.

  • @InvisiMan2006 re "getting stoned to find relief"

    Leaf: /watch?v=qa0nLdVJiIg

no all are "pot heads' wanting to get stoned.

bizarre [imho] that morphine [opium] et al are totally legal yet have a low toxicity rate / and known for abuse ie herion with disastrous consequences

    - yet cannabis with 0 toxicity/ addiction etc remains' illegal'

there is also suggestion of efficacy for asthma, but I'd need to research more...

  • @InvisiMan2006 I perceived that may have been what you where discussing.

    "Controlled"

perhaps if you where to research: GW pharmaceuticals, a UK based company supplying a product known as Sativex [ a pure cannabis herb extract]

there are many peer reviewed studies from a variety of institutions widely available for perusal.

I too have lost people to chemical drugs,

cannabis = completely non toxic. no recorded death, ever.

most anything, if abused - can cause "harm"

  • @treemarble Not sure why this has become a debate on cannabis. I don't particularly like or use anything that impacts my judgement. As for harm, my neighbor lost his family and will soon be losing his house due to his addiction to marijuana. Why bother to take drugs in the first place? Even with chronic illness and daily pain, I can enjoy my life without having to get stoned or drunk. I wish everyone could do that, but I won't judge those who need it.

  • @InvisiMan2006 me either :)

    - though there does appear much mis-information out there.

ie: "addicted to marijuana" ? much info states cannabis = non physically addictive.

personally I feel the same, re; "don't particularly like or use anything that impacts my judgement."

"why bother take drugs first place"

    - disease/pain etc, without medications many people would literally be with pain to a degree that becomes unbearable.

  • @InvisiMan2006

"Even with chronic illness and daily pain, I can enjoy my life without having to get stoned or drunk."

this appears to suggest you have chronic illness/daily pain and are medication free. if you have a skill which can beat pain w/out medication, please share!

I'd imagine many people with chronic pain etc - on strong opioid's and such would like to know as many, it seems - rely on cannabis as a safe alternative.

cannabis [or any drug] abuse = different
