oh i love them! it'll always be myrna loy and william powell for me, but damn, she and clark gable ARE wonderful together. have seen them in everything except "parnell".
one question though: the last clip, is it available anywhere online? and if not, what dvd/vhs is it from? would love to see the whole thing, if it exists. :)

The last clip is a newreel, from Ed Sullivan's show. I got it from a documentary on Myrna Loy.

I think the only Gable/Loy film I've seen is Wife vs. Secretary, but they are incredible. Almost as good as the Powell/Loy combination ;)

Oh, you should! They are so great together. You're in luck though! TCM is showing Too Hot To Handle (1938) on 7/17 and Test Pilot (1938) on 7/31.
