I have an 03 p71 ford crown vic ex RCMP car, the only thing wrong with it is the transmission, it's kinda sketchy. Don't let anyone tell you that ford sucks though man, they make pretty tough cars, and comfortable too.

I have a 97 mercury cougar with the 4.6 with 118,000 miles and she runs like a dream. I have heard about the transmission problems and mine a recall with the intake manifold, it tends to crack.

Im there with you on the Ford's man. Let me tell you, after working at the dealerships for 12 years the Taurus is a great car. Now, I'm chasing bad guys IN A FORD. They hold up better than any chevy or dodge! We have 50 cars and 46 are Fords.

Sean the CD player needs the optical eye cleaned or may need realigned. I would try the cleaning first $10 CD player cleaning kit at Walmart.....

hey sean u think ur tranny was bad me and my mom were going up a small hil in our '89 nissan maxima and the car in the MIDDLE OF DRIVING just revved REAL loud at like 5000 rpms and didnt like go just coasted and my mom was like ANTHONY WATCH WAT UR DOING cause she thought my knee hit the shifter and i was like wat? but it turns out the tranny went and luckily there was a turn and we turned into a lot (we knew it was going because every time u turned u heard this terrible BANG BANG BANG BANG!!!)

my '99 s10 just came out of the shop today, the rear drum brakes were never touched in all 107k that are on the truck. so i got 4 new brakes and new ball joints all the way around. hope the new job goes well!
