  • Also, thanks for the compliments. I think he's nice, but I am of course biased. : )

  • Erin had never ridden a gaited horse before in her life, so she is still learning and trying to figure it out all out. She was riding her QH and then hopped on my horse for a ride, so the spurs were just left over from her previous ride. Yes, he definitely needs and looks for contact. Being used to her western trained QA, she tends to keep a looser rein.

  • Very nice horse, very stout built. Erin needs to shorten her reins and bring her hands forward, and even down sometimes. He's looking for contact and she wasn't supporting him, rather she was spuring him forward. Why spurs?
