Benefits - $5000 per windmill if you've got the land

Benefits - Wonderful if you live in Seattle, Portland, or California

Cons - Overpowering if you live by them, don't own the land, and have to look at 100 windmills and the associated high voltage lines.

Cons- County underassessed the facilities so about one-third of what should be is going into the tax base for the schools, fire departments, roads.

The wind companies sure put one over on the good old boys.
