This is MISINFORMATION you CANNOT make FREE CALLS to other phones whether landlines or cells through Skype, you can only call Skype to Skype programs which are free so the other end has to have Skype on their computer or iPhone as well, without that you're shit out of luck.

Well, AT&T is kinda right. Skype uses a lot of bandwidth when making calls over the internet, if AT&T allows this to be done over 3G, all this data transfers are gonna come out of the carrier's pocket not Skype. What I'm trying to say is, it's not fair for Skype to be making money out of AT&T's network, makes sense don't you think?

no there is not. i have one and there is no microphone but you can get an attachment that has an earphone+microphone. i think you are confusing the microphone with the external speaker on the 2G thats not on the old one
