If Obama's plan is so great - why are Democrats so desperate for Republican support?
They can look like the good guys when the stimulus plan does the magic they claim it will...and the Republicans will have been against it and look bad.
It's b/c the Dems know this isn't the best idea and want to share the blame if it fails.

Yeah, the move-on website says that the bill can't pass without Republican Senators' support. Wait, don't the Democrats had a large majority over the Republicans, what are they talking about? Unless they're referring to the filibuster power of the Reps that makes no sense

He wanted House Republicans to vote on it.
I'll send you 20 bucks if the bill doesn't pass the Senate. Democrat leaders have all said they have confidence and know it will pass.
