  • Amazing video!

    A solid achievement.

Let's hope that it's not too little too late...

  • Boringggggggg!!!!!

  • Does this come in a mini (2kw) version?

  • I have an idea for a marine energy source. It does require waves, tides, heat, wind or sunshine. Nor is it based on any outlandish science-fiction-esque concepts. It is at the cocktail napkin stage of development, but I am convinced it is a winner. How would I go about taking it further? Who should I talk to?

  • @punchthedog Correction, I meant to say it does NOT require waves, tides, heat, wind or sunshine.

  • I invented a breakthrough new source of energy which violates the law of conservation of energy. I have a proof that there are electrodynamic phenomena which violate the law of energy conservation. 250 euros per kW DC production cost in mass production. I am looking for 4 million euros for initial research, after 2 years I will repay 200% of the amount invested. Smaller or bigger investments will be considered. My e-mail address is in my contact box.

  • THIS IS THE "WAVE" OF THE FUTURE

  • You often see these small test-bed systems. They do great, generating enough power for several 3rd world nation villages, yet after the tests the platforms go into mothballs or are deconstructed while the tech is scaled up for "1st World" needs. There needs to be a non-profit which buys up these successful testbeds and supplies them to developing countries.

  • The Turbine isn't big enough.

  • @Lippy8555 that's not true because little dimensions mean much higher pressure so the power can better extract

  • Wow, this is the first device that I have seen that I think has serious potential. It certainly looks to have a realistic power output. Having looked at their website, I'm impressed. Only one moving part? I'll be watching this space. Well done.

  • A full scale commercial prototype will have an installed capacity of 1.75MW. The OE Buoy is a wave power generation platform. For more information please visit our website OceanEnergy(dot)ie

  • how much energy is it producing?

  • Stop the new world order!!!

  • Please visit our website for the full detail on the operating principle OceanEnergy(dot)ie

  • Thank you so much for your explanation.

  • any explanation about how it worked ? Wind, tide or wave?
