I remember going to my grandma's house when she still had the SNES and I would play this game all day long (including DK Country, Super Mario World, etc) and I would write down all the information on the historical artifacts/sites...in other words, the very first time I was ever educated by video games. Strange game, but I loved it regardless.

I know this sounds ridiculous, but I love re-watching your Mario is Missing videos whenever I'm stressed or feel overwhelmed. I haven't played this game in years, but these videos take me back to that day when I bought this game at the mall with my parents many years ago and then got frustrated at how stupid this game actually was...and then little nostalgic pieces of my childhood come back to me and convince me to try and appreciate every day and every little moment - because life is too short.

I LOVED this game! X3 I used cheats though. I miss my SNES. It was destroyed in a flood (along with my other games) And I agree with you. It is a great game. Old games are the best games. And Luigi had two games that starred him. So he can't complain.

It's actually Peach, Anyone can tell almost all the graphics are from Super Mario World, and anyone who has beat that game and watched the end knows that's the princess that stands between Mario and Luigi after the credits and bosses and what not.

I heard through research that it's actually Daisy in the (i) place. One thing I picked up at the time was that when you walk through a body of water from the map, it's shown as a fence in Luigi's background, indicating a bridge.

Well this is getting to be fun. Okay, I'm still convinced that it's Peach. Why? The apparent twin syndrome that I see Peach and Daisy have in OTG. I never played the game, but I see now that Daisy looks near identical to Peach in the title screen. However, I had seen official artwork for the game and Daisy indeed had her current brown hair/yellow dress look in the artwork. I always thought that Peach was wearing blue in MIM because people in information booths usually wear blue shirts.

What's more: You say TST had Golf as a source for character appearance; I say prove it. As for my own theory, since they used Mario and Luigi's sprites from Super Mario World, would it not make sense that they saw Peach's sprite there too and therefore saw the blonde hair? I also dug up the original instruction booklet for the game, but unfortunately they don't say "Peach" or "Daisy", they just call them "Curators." So, the next move is yours!
