In my eyes, i see Lucas and Brooke together, some see Lucas and Peyton but to me it will always be Brooke and Lucas. It was true, that if Chad and Sophia didn't get divorce, it was possible that Brooke was suppose to be actually pregnant the second time but in the end it couldn't be done and even though as brucas fans we didn't get what we wanted, we will always remember and see the love that they had, even though some dont see it.

It was always going to be Brucas. ALWAYS. But when Chad and Sophia divorced, the writers probably had to choose between keeping two of their leads and abandoning the storyline or losing them and still abandoning the storyine.

So I guess they chose the former. Which was a real shame.

Ugh. Not only did Chad screw everything up with Sophia he screwed all the devoted Brucas fans over. It kind of frustrates me. The words they said to and about each other in season 2 and 3 were so real at the time. You can't just take it back. But then in season 4 they act like nothing was said. What the writers wrote at the time and how everything ended up... it just doesn't add up.

Notice Lucas IS STILL in love with Brooke in season 6 and her with him even though officially they haven't been together for 3 seasons. I think us Brucas fans deserve our happy ending and for Brucas to end up together before this series finishes. You are right.... Brooke IS the love of Lucas's life and vise versa. Even though he married Peyton, Peyton won by default because Brooke backed away. Brooke is the stronger person and can stand on her own two feet. Peyton was never that strong and was always needy. I feel Brooke thought I know I can do it by myself, Peyton can't. BUT in saying that it doesn't change the fact that yes even in season 6 Luca was STILL IN LOVE WITH BROOKE, he was confused and still wanted her and vise versa

I was a Leyton shipper when i started watching but seasons 5&6 and this ep in particular made me see how much sense Brucas made. Despite few scenes together in s5&6 you could still sense the chemistry. It made me go back and see seasons 2&3 in a totally different way. I still love Leyton's connection but Brucas should have been in the end. Peyton was good with Lucas, Jake and Julian but no other guy ever made sense with Brooke, i never believed she loved any of them except Lucas

I just want to say I was watching this and at the end when Lucas is asking Brooke if she remembers the night (the flashback)..and if she wonders did they make the right choice and then when he's leaving she asks if he still loves Peyton, he respond he has to get back to Lindsay....just my opinion but I think the real answers was he still loved her, Brooke!!
