Had the pleasure of seeing her perform around 98, she played alone except for one song. She was incredible to say the least and the audience was eclectic ranging from a gaggle of 14 year old girls to the jazz crowd to guys in 3 piece suites. I remember the girls screaming 'we love you tori!' to which she replied 'i love you too!', you could tell she was talking to everyone and you could also tell she meant every word of it.

Well - I hate to say it ... part of the reason for mass-consumer music is that we are here, watching Tori for free. She doesn't get a dime from this (Amazon does if you buy). The only way artists make money is to tour - in my opinion, touring cheapens and wears artistic talent to the bone - you don't get 100% if you see her on the 12th day of the tour. Tori's playlist is huge - nobody can stay consistent. Concerts should be special - recorded versions (pay 4 play) supplement their creative times
