A few questions people. How is the gaming performance of this phone? Can it play every game on the market at the moment? Also, is there lag in any other areas that I should be concerned about? Is the typing good if you're a Chinese teenager (as in cos most Chinese have skinny fingers like me) in portrait mode? Thanks guys. And before you guys bag me out about being another teenager that just gets smartphones, I've been using a nokia brick for the past 3 years

@DeeoftheWhy3 :hey man, i ve been using des phone for about 2 months or so.yes, u can play most of the games available. but i would say if u do too much gaming and browsing on des phone the battery-life might end up being a concerning factor for u, nevertheless it will serve u up-to-a full day which i dun consider being a big disappointment comparing to other smart phones.i have also used iphone 4 and lemme tell u considering the price difference, i would suggest, go for Ray any god given day

This or Neo? I like Ray's design, but the lack of actual flash is a little flaw I find on the phone, since the photo light doesn't helps that much, I tell this because my X10 has the same photo light and fails to illuminate the shots. On the other side, Neo has a bigger screen and HDMI.

Got it for new years,extremely happy with this phone,almost denied my self from it because the one i tried in the store stopped working in my hands.Not very opimistic but i decided to buy the new one they offered me and have no complains,aspecially from the battery that holds almost 3 days. If anyone wants to buy some,place your sim card in the store,because the first one i tried didn't want to turn back on again,and the seller tierd to convise me its out of battery :) ,yeah sure mr Salesman :D

@22cibe Unless you stupidly purchased a broken phone, the fact that it "doesn't work at all" is your own fault. IF you are just exaggerating because you don't like the performance of your STOCK X8, go to XDAdevelopers, learn how to root and unlock your bootloader and install mini CM7 on it, it'll become smoother than many stock phones with twice it's processing power.

@ 5461yk the neo is older and only has a 5 mp camera, it's also slot chunkier. The neo v is out and pretty good but I would stick with the ray :)

An amazing phone. The web pictures and videos don't do justice to how luxurious it feels and beautiful it looks in the hands.

Pros:

1. Beautiful. (take my word for it!) Has similar appeal as the iPhone 4 without trying to be an iPhone 4.

2. Gorgeous 3.3-inch display.

3. Has basically ALL the substantial features of the ARC

4. Smooth operation - virtually no lags.

5. Exmor sensor inside

Cons:

1. Due to the screen size, typing needs getting used to.

2. Mineral glass not gorilla

@JoelOnYouVideos Yeah, you get "Themes" as an option when you touch and hold on the screen. when you download the update from SE so you get different colour wallpapers and the colours of the controls in the media player change based on the colour of the album art. I went with the black colour on my Xperia neo, a nice improvement over the blue background it came with by default.

@ArabicLion Yeah Sony make good products but fail at advertising. The original PS3 adverts were so abstract I didn't catch on it was advertising PS3, Sony "This is living" logo with random things happening has little to do with the PS3 console or even the Sony brand. Plus Sony advertise to the West like its in Japan, their adverts come off as being weird and slightly disturbing where as they are trying to be quirky, funny and different but it just doesn't work or appear that way at all.
