I had Exotics in the past, and they are really playful, much more than persian, and the coat is a little shorter and and more velvety, and not that fluffy. This one has more persian than avevrage exotics. Very cute though, and made me laugh a lot, good video!

this is so funny, my fancy is the same way...it's like "i'm not a dog, you want to teach me what?" I have 7 cats but she's the princess, she has to be picked up, carried to her food & yet any other time its like "the injustice of it all". Planted a trap and the poor mouse was found dead the day after. My cat looks and acts SO much like yours...They seem to be a very finicky breed. My cat started off as playful when he was younger and then slept ALL day in his later adulthood, he also used to randomly meow at night and was unfriendly to men

For the laziness try changing him to a healthier diet and take him to the vet just to make sure it isn't a health issue

For the random meowing at night...he may just be lonely, try introuducing a smaller cat. These cats need to be king of the house.

I do not know who stated the characteristics about Exotics, but our Ladybug acts the same way as Winston does, therefore they both not normal. Exoctics do not like to be held because their fur coat is so dense that it literally gets to hot for them. We seldom pick up the Bug, and she likes it that way.

They are most curious about things, we do not buy toys, just bring home boxes from Costco and Sam's Club. She spends days rearranging them.
