i believe, if the same thing wud have happened to da grooms family, they wudve definitely consider da bride as unlucky and probably break da marriage and if it happens to da bride, they'll not accept her in this condition, so, the lost will be only for the gal no matter watever happens on the wedding day.........well, dats life!!! saints like Harichandras family can only be found in Rajshri's movies...heheheh
