can someone tell me how to go from hr 1 to hr 2? i seem to get stuck at hr1 cos i sux at the game D:< i completed the 1 and 2* quest frm the old lady and have unlocked 3, 4 and 5 stars quests frm her. i finished 1* quests frm the guild hall. help me. my weapons and armor dont seem to help me, neither does my cat. the skills dont help me either. help me cos i sux at tis game,
@sleeqfan17 You can only increas your hr by doing quests in the guild hall. If you do alot of 3 star quests in the guild hall you will be given an urgent quest which you will need to complete. If you did that you will be able to do 4 star quests in the guild hall and your hr will increase. Hope that helped, if you have any questions you can ask me im an experienced monster hunter and im happy to help :D

@sleeqfan17 Lao Shan Lung and Shen Goaren don't really attack you, but at some moments during the battle they can damage you. If you want to get a lot of bugs from the bug tree with the golden hammer, you should press x when the hammer lights up and makes a sound for the third time. This moment is very short and it can be hard to succesfully do this. But if you practice enough you will be able to do it and get good items from it :D If you have more questions feel free to ask them!
@sleeqfan17 Yes it's possible to get rare scarab from the bug tree if you use the gold hammer. Just press x somewhere around the third flash and you'll get one in a few tries. It's also possible to get them in some other locations, but I only know a few: G-Rank Volcano Area 2 / G-Rank Tower / Higher Bug Thickets but your best bet is to just use the bug tree :P Where do you need al the insect materials for?
@sleeqfan17 Dragon wind is a form of wind that monsters make that is very hard to block and will almost always knock you to the ground. This form of wind is made by Kushala Doara, Chameleos, Teostra and Lunastra. Which hr are you now?

@sleeqfan17 Good job! you should only use the order rapier when you're fighting monsters which are weak to water element because the order rapier does 140 water damage and only 182 raw damage. If you want to have good all-round dual blades you can make the twin dagger or bone scythe and upgrade them. If some quests are too hard, try to do some quests you already completed to make better armor and weapons.

@danialafiq23 The guild hall urgent quest for 4* is hunt the blangonga. For 5* you need to hunt the tigrex. The blangonga and tigrex can be hard to defeat the first time. If it's too hard, try to make new or upgrade your armor and weapons. I would like to hear how it went!
@mryarivd blangonga quests are not that hard for me but tigrex is a pain in the ass. i have this weapon called dark scythe. it has720 raw power and 100 dragon attribute. do u recommend i bring this or my eager cleaver?
@danialafiq23 I already expected that, tigrex is hard to kill the first few times. You should bring your eager cleaver because tigrex is weakest to thunder. First try cutting of his tail and don't attack him in rage mode, this is too hard the first times. You might want to bring some flash bombs, and a shock trap. It's also smart to bring 2 genpray fangs and 2 trap tools, because if you combine them you get a shock trap. If you've cut his tail off, stay to the side. Never stay in front of him!!!

don't be a cock like Dark Sonic. This game kicks ass. I have 300 plus hrs on it and I have awesome gear. White monoblos and Death Stench U or W/e. It has great graphics, litterally hundreds of hrs of gameplay. Kicks way more ass than the Wii one..such as waste...It also has over 500 armor and weapon types. You get material to make the weapons by killing giant monsters/dinosaurish creatures. Some dragons and giant killer monkeys this game has it all.

Heres something to all your "RPG Fanatics" This is a game that WILL TAKE TIME and EFFORT to complete. You don't really Level Up your character, simply your weapon/armor. You may have great items, but their no use against monsters if you don't posses the proper knowledge/skill. This game is REALLY HARD, its not a walk in the park action-rpg. If you did that you will be able to do 4 star quests in the guild hall and your hr will increase. hey dude,i got a problem,can ye help me out,i downloaded many monster hunter freedom unite torrent,but when i play them,they seem not to show any WORDS!!!!
i mean nothing,not the words in the option or in the starting of the game,or the words that the people are saying,is this my psp faults,the games are runing good on other peoples psp.

mine monoblos atk is 8, shud i slot it to 15 to get atk(medium)??

@darwin356 dis game is awesome, i can tel u, it really got me addicted esp during my final exam. HAHAHA though i only play abit cuz i wana do well in my test too, when i play dis game i can go on til 3am. HAHA i prefer usin hammer whr u can stun de enemy & hammer hav de highest output. when u 1st started it may b abit bored but later on it really get u goin.

i would say the only thing a good hunter needs is timing and preparation, with out either a quest will be way more difficult then it needs to be

Heres something to all your "RPG Fanatics" This is a game that WILL TAKE TIME and EFFORT to complete. You don't really Level Up your character, simply your weapon/armor. You may have great items, but their no use against monsters if you don't posses the proper knowledge/skill. This game is REALLY HARD, its not a walk in the park action-rpg. Like the old saying, "Rome wasn't built in a day."

is there a book on this monster hunter freedom unite? i remmember way back in the day (kinda) i had a monster hunter book with all the armor and quests in the game sept spec. ones of course then i lost it and when i asked somone about it they said there were none but then i found one online for around $60..... but yea LMAO XD just wana know they come in handy sometimes
