hey i noticed that you guys use mortar tubes. We have 12 inch tubes plugged for 1.70 plus shipping and we make any size rack. Just keep use in mind when you need more. You can email us at manmfireworks@yahoo.com. We also have video's on youtube so you can see some of are racks. Thanks for your time
to be honest with you its easier to build with other designs go to addy racks.com and they have some good pictures of what you could base some stuff off of.
@gocrazy1995 i am sure there are plenty of other EASIER ways to build it. But as a wood worker, it gave me an opportunity to get creative and build what i feel to be a very safe mortar rack. I was building these for my own personal use, and not to manufacture to sell, so i wasnt too worried about being overly efficient.. just wanted to have fun building something. And they worked GREAT.
@moparman240 no problems what so ever. the tubes all come pre loaded, and i put them all on 2x10 pine bases, so they were plenty sturdy.. i am still trying to get a hold of the video file of our finale so you can see how well it went off...it was quite simply amazing.
I'm not.. this is just a finale board.. most of my shells will be shot off by hand and some will be shot the night before, etc etc... these tubes cost 1.60 each... to buy 600 of them would cost me 960.00.... gotta build up over the years.

Any Dr11 or Dr9 tubes are the exact measurement for consumer shells. So your phantom shells should fit and function just fine.. good luck!
