I like Laura a bit better in terms of skating and jumping, but this is hard to deny. Kiira deserved the title.

I'm a big Kiira Korpi fan, but her make-up here made her look too old--she should avoid it, although she likes to experiment with make-up. Her "girl next door" look (her natural look) is her best look. I hear she's keeping this sp program for the 2011 season.

She's good but I still don't know why she got all the way up to over 60 points and got the highest sp score of the season. There was a turnout on the triple loop and didn't have a lot of speed

@CappyTown A turnout only means a deduction of -1 on the GOE of that element. It's not really a big mistake. The jump was executed directly after steps and had great heigth and length. Everything else was executed greatly, so the 60+ score is completely understandable. Just read the protocols. :)

@bundchen27 It's far more elegant when they don't wear over-the-boot tights, they make the skaters' feet look so clunky! Why do you think it's distracting?

@bluedrops i don't know. it's just that all i look at is her striking white boots. besides, wearing foot covers makes the legs look longer, which is a great look on the ice for extensions and other stuff.
