I loved this game so much that after you said that I went and reinstalled the game just to get the same old....

"Unable to connect to ESO due to network error or lack of administrator rights." every time I try to connect, just like I knew I would. Just to be clear I have one of the original AOM gold editions which has an actual CD-key, so that is not the problem.

AOM online is dead. Shame.

@DisrespectfulRob I have The Titans expansion and it works. I do have to modify a file in the directory for the stats to save but other than that Multiplayer works without a problem for me, both ranked and custom games. Either they stopped supporting the original AoM or it's related to the ports on your router.(I googled what you have written) The expansion works and tomorrow I will be able to check if if the original game works for me too...

The gold edition includes the expansion. Also, I have already attempted to connect directly from the modem, with no router or even a firewall at all. Its not a port/router/network issue, its an issue with the game itself. Trust me, Ive googled, searched, doublechecked many times over already... theres nothing I can do on my end.

I love the online fights, but I can never get on because of my god-damn CD key.
