You should just skip right past Bloopin', Bloppin', Beepin', and Bippin' With the Miles Davis Quintet, and get right to Curtis Fuller's Bloop-Ette or maybe The Bloop and the Abstract Truth.
Well, I know that's a lot of work so you could also just pick a great single. Say maybe, Afro Bloop.
I'm sure if Miles found something to like in a Cyndi Lauper song, even he could appreciate this. Personally, I think it's hilarious, and I do appreciate the effort that must have gone into it.
Clever and well done, but that's as far as it goes. Certainly worth listening to a couple times, but nothing lasting. Just as no on listens to Switched On Bach anymore, this awaits the same fate. As for negative comments about the cover lawsuit, the commenters obviously hold no copyrights to anything.
Did you guys know that the creator of this album almost got sued by the photographer of the Kind Of Blue album cover, because of this album cover? What an asshole.
@Soulmodelmusic It's almost impossible for anyone to not have any copyright to something. It's just a fact that a lot of people turn into complete assholes once they can earn money with that right.
Wish I would've known about this sooner, it's a fantastic rendition! I've listened to this album so many times I know virtually every note of it, and it's amazing how well you've managed to convert it over.
@83texan Eh, you'd be surprised. There's a lot of people out there who have one idea of what jazz should be, and to them, anything outside of that is garbage. Wynton Marsalis, for example.
Grow up, please. It probably took Ast0r a lot of time and effort to create this rendition of this classic song. The idea that creating a tribute to jazz music in a style that a younger generation would be able to appreciate would probably bridge a gap in music styles and attract new admirers instead of ruining the original music for kids. Also, what's with the racism?

This comment has received too many negative votes show
it's amazing how it takes something like jazz and totally flattens it into something that kids can understand as Hip without understanding Cool.
