lol. That was hilarious! ^_^ I can't believe I didn't ealize/know it was her anniversary this past...Saturday, for me! I feel like such a bad fan! XD Long live Rainbow Brite!!
Yes, it was. It was too adorable to pass up for this video. Glad you like it. Don't forget to rate, and subscribe if you haven't already. Nice to see you from the forums, btw.
Man, I remember how I first was introduced to Rainbow Brite. Years and years ago, when Disney was better than it currently is, they showed the movie "Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer". After watching it and loving it, my dad would occasionally rent the odd Rainbow Brite video from Blockbuster.
I still remember playing Rainbow Brite with my brother and friend from school (who had never seen it before, but played along nonetheless).
Is it pathetic that, with the live action birthday movie, I'd watch it again and again, each day proclaiming it to be a different stuffed animal's birthday so that it could lead the birthday parade? ^^;
I use to have a Rainbow Brite Doll. I didn't get to keep it. My mother made me give it up. The belt was coming off because the glue gave way. I kinda miss it.
I hope that the new 2009 version turns out well like 'Straw Berry Short Cake', or even better like 'My Little Pony'. We shall see.
I don't actually have a Rainbow Brite merchandise, but I have enjoyed The Beginning of Rainbowland And How Rainbow Brite Met Brian and took him to Rainbowland.
Plus, Everytime I think about Rainbow Brite now, I kept imagining her hosting a TV series for little kids so the kids at home will help her on her adventures.
I'll IM the story and idea to you since it's too long to post here in the comments section.
happy anniversary, Rainbow Brite!
while I wasn't big into RB merchandise, I have fond memories of the show and seeing all the pretty colors every week, lol!
