  • wow . . . . . no transparency :(

  • ok so your showing us real life...can we see the blender now?

  • i want this program

  • @qurexema its free

  • @megatazziboy264 how do i get it then

  • @qurexema go to blender.com and go to download section. Then just download the one that seems right for your computer and enjoy!

  • how can i make a the map destroyable and how to make a first person to hold a tool weapon ect.

pls make a tutorial and how to make the map to be random generated and a inventory how to make a GAME

  • Good Work

  • Is it a real game??

  • @Sk8tr32111 No, I only used game logic to give an impression that it's breacking using the physic engine of blender and nodes (actions). althgough It could be animated "real-time" in the game engine as shards are pre-made (again, not real time destruction) I rendered it using blender internal.

  • could you make a tutorial?:)

  • @likamuffin There's one already ;)

  • Give me the textures?

    sorry for english:)!!!!

  • Can you Upload the Blend files Please?

  • lmao XD that last bottle has seizures

  • can you save the "broken parts"?

i want to create some meshes for CryEngine 3 but i have to create the broken parts too

  • @dmftt Well, for this video, I have created all the brocken parts, this is not generated real time if it's what you mean. I used the bullet physic engine to record the "breacking-like" animation of the parts, it's more a trick for people to break thing "easily" in an animation. Maybe you should watch for the fracture addon or phymec's channel on youtube, there are some impressive video there.

  • @dmftt Sorry, I forgot to tell that there are obviously some tricks to use to create some brocken parts, like the explode modifier (generating multiple parts from a mesh) or boolean modifiers (cuting a mesh from an other mesh).

  • This is amazing. As soon as i get my i7 laptop im going to learn the ways of blender. This is simply amazing.

  • lol dude "STOP BRO" aahahah that one was nice...and im happy you are 9gagger too :D

    Physics level IMPOSIBRU!

  • @TheDJSTALKER 9gag is funnyjunk's slower, mentally disabled brother in the famiry.

  • second train car test oh,he stopped allright...

  • challenge acepted

  • i llike that work I would like to be able once to make something like that with blender 3d Modeling Thank you very much

  • "MY CAR"! "MY HOUSE"!

  • i would like this blend file please

  • why dont game developers use this for physics??

  • @Freakenomics Cause it's not real time, it's pre-rendered. It'll be a few more years yet before we see physics this advanced in games.

  • @Freakenomics Too much strain on a standard household pc.. Selling to the masses haha

  • 2 men did't know physics

  • fucking cool epic physics nice upload bro!

  • how long did the whole process take? i mean from the modeling to the texturing and rendering, the animations, the final rendering included the video one etcetera

  • @Margalus89 Every animations took one to 2 days of work, from the beginning to the end. Not really a big deal.

  • @TomWalks well the whole project must have took a month!

  • @Margalus89

leave blender and try 3ds max

  • @3Dsmaxcb why exactly?

  • @Margalus89

idk, i first used blender, its very good for making games and that kind of stuff, but 3ds max is much better, i have used both, and everyone i know who uses 3d programs preffers 3ds max rather than blender, its just a recommendation

  • Is this DMM?

Or are there pre made break points and gibs.

  • @MrBoblebob No it's all manually modelled, then animated using the bullet engine.

  • goodbye bro

  • LOL'd at Challenge Accepted!

  • LOL at the rage faces on the cups

  • lol bro!

  • I swear I saw a katapult in the thumbnail :D

  • WOW !!

  • Nice job, I know I can't do better. :)

  • 1:20 DICK FIGUREEEES

  • @Schnabetier That's not from dick figures, they just used it....

  • wow ... awesome.....:)

  • at 1:50 make the cube look like the borg cube :D

  • How did you simulate the shattering ceramic + wood? Tutorial?

  • 0:32 FUCK YO HOUSE NICKA!!

  • bge is amazing ! :) and peruspena1 yep Blender will be ever the best GE :)

  • could blender be the future of gaming?

  • @peruspena1 no most game designers use code and complex interfaces that they make THEMSELSVES. blender is not meant to be a designer for large games.

  • @iamlegendbitches Thanks for appropriate answer :D

  • could you tell us how you made the shards at 0:15? it is one of the best

  • @HFdemofilms Hi, it's a texture of broken glass I found on cgtextures(dot) com, I just made it appear at the right time with a simple keyframe.

  • @TomWalks did you make the individual shards by hand?

  • @HFdemofilms Yes, only the falling parts, but instead of modelling it one by one by hand, I used the explode modifer to separate the shards from each other, and only then animated it in the game engine. (You can watch the second tutorial I made for more precisions on the process, the only difference with the tut' is that I didn't brake the entire object, only a round hole in the center, just what I needed). Then as I said the texture gives the illusion for the rest of the mirror.

  • But will it blend?

  • I lol'd extremely hard at 1:17

  • @TomWalks hi

can u tell me what other programs, if any, i need besides blender 2.5 to do this. and thanx ahead of time. nice vid too btw. very awesome. :D

  • @sixstringscumdog Hi, I only used blender 2.5 to do this. You can also check the fracture add-on which gives awesome results, there are many videos of this one on youtube too ;)

  • @TomWalks ok kool. well i already have blender 2.5 so i guess im ready to attempt this. lol. keep posting vids man !!!

  • Please make a 9/11 video i will sub and like if u do

  • I would be nice if this would work only in the game engine and could be used in an actual game, instead of just being a rendered simulation...

  • @IncrediMedia

I was under the impression that this was actually in the Game Engine, as the title suggests?

  • @xDesolateStudios Yes, but you can' make a game with this in it.. this is rendered animations and simulations, using the game engine physics, but you can't make this in a game.. then the game should render each frame..

  • @xDesolateStudios I will correct the title and change "game engine" in "game logic". It only has something to do with "game" because I used the game mode from blender to set things up, but the final results are not game made, although you can use this method in little games or else.

  • @TomWalks

Ah, that seems a bit more realistic now. I'm assuming that any attempt at this type of destruction would be way to intensive for any -playable- game, correct? (Especially ones in BGE)

  • @xDesolateStudios It depends on what kind of game it is, I had the idea from a tutorial from blendercoockie on how to create a simple minigame. But as long as it's not massive or too complex, you can use it in any game, just as in games you see out there featuring Havok, etc., although the settings would be a little different. Or if it's a big destruction you want, it's not forced to be realtime, but also scripted from a recorded animation + some realtime elements, giving an impression of random.

  • please teach me Base god

  • you made this? wow nice.

i have blender i just can't figure out how to make animations i can move the cube that shows up in the beginning at first i wanted to test the animation by making the cube move but how do i do it? u can move the cube but i don't know how to animate the movement

  • @Elijan1996 The quickest way to is probably by pressing i on your keyboard to add keyframes, and choose from location, rotation, scale or whatever, etc.. then move the cursor in the timeline to go forward or backward, move your cube and add new keyframe(s). Then animation should play from one key to the next one. Hope this helps. If you're new to blender I recommand to check Blendercoockie, com lots of cool tips and advices there.

  • @TomWalks thn man i already found that site before you told me and learned to make animation but i need to learn how to model things like you did

  • Comment removed

  • ......how? O.O

  • 1:17 Fuck yeah!

  • but will it blend?

  • STOP BRO!

  • Very cool :)

  • .... I'm almost afraid to ask... How long have you been using Blender?

  • @Draigliar Today almost 1 year and a month, I started late July last year. 8 to 9 month when I started this. I started Space Oddity after two month. But I have to admit that since I really want to emerge from it I spend (loose) a LOT of time practicing, too much some people say..

  • @TomWalks Well.... That's curtainly less time then I originally feared. so with enough time I could actually make my game :D.... I have a newbie question though. how do I get into the wireframe for character modelling and stuff?

  • @Draigliar You mean the Z key on your keyboard I think.

  • @TomWalks lol I feel like a retard. just had to do a tutorial on skulpt mode.... but now I need to learn how to paint the damn thing.... thx anyway!

  • @Draigliar Sorry for this answer x) I feel sometimes parts of my brain disconnect from each other to save ressources. I hope I wont fail this time or I'll have to get some rest : Do you mean, once in texture painting mode and texture mode the "face selection" box next to to the layers ? Litteraly the wires appears.

  • @TomWalks augh... I have no idea how to do what you just said.... cuz I seriously just downloaded this thing like two days ago.

  • @Draigliar Nvm, I might be lagging, sorry.

  • @TomWalks hey could you prehaps put some downloads like the .blends or osmethin for the cups and stuff that gets destroyed i think they would be interesting to play with and i am quite a noob so i dont htink i could make anything like that.

  • Very nice stuff! :)

  • This is awesome..

  • nice good

  • "Stop bro"

  • Fuck Yea...

  • @Bloodraven216 *tut tut tut*

  • @ImpossiblePasta the cup YOU SILLEH GOOSE

  • It's incredible! Congratulations!

  • wheres the tutorial? id really like 2 learn how 2 do this!

  • LOL @ "STOP BRO"!

  • @gorogawa LOLOL

  • @gorogawa *facepalm*

  • Did you use thetiivik's tut on some of these?

    Nice job.

  • Superb, but why does it have to be slow motion whenever someone does these?

  • too fake~ky!! of the destruction.

Hope Blender can implement the Finite Element or Applied Element Method which is non-linear that means you can simulate the things from intact to and after breaking.

  • fuck yeah.

  • You did the simulation real-time and rendered it as ussual or is that real-time too?

    because it looks pretty amazing!

  • @TheKrishux I used the game engine physic to record the animation real time and then rendered it. I now just added a tutorial.

  • If this really is real-time.... Waiting for the tut! amazing!

  • Very good man xD

    very impressive.

  • This is realtime?! Wow!

  • wow

  • This is awesome. I subscribed. Waiting for the tutorial. Blender FTW

  • Foi usado um novo add on?

    Muito bom o trabalho!

  • Very nice !

How do you glue the pieces together before the collision ?

  • @sydneydoc I'm actually working on a tutorial, I think next week will have this question answered.

  • @TomWalks

    Thanks Tom

  • Damn, It ROCKS !!!

  • Very inspiring scenes! I'd love to see a behind a "behind the scenes" video that explains some of the techniques you used.

  • I lol'd when the car flew off towards the distance.

Love the video, I think I may have to try blender out.

  • Why aren't video game developers actually experimenting anymore? You see E3, and nothing compares to what this short video expresses.

  • Is this all realtime in BGE??

  • This is awsome man, was it hard to figure out how to do it? And is blender 2,5 free?

  • @nepse778 I first watched the "mini game" tutorial on blendercookie, from there and many tests later I ended with this, even if it's totally different, the basis was found there. It's not true destruction, just logic and physic. So it's not really hard, it just needs a lot of patience. And yes Blender 2.5 is free. And thanks :)

  • What song is this?

  • @basspenguin Chopin, Prélude Op 28 N° 15

  • @TomWalks Thanks! Great video btw. Looking forward to a tut.

  • WOW!

Please say what music is playing, it's nice too.

  • Excelent! You know what would be nice? A tutorial :D

  • @Jem30191 I seconded that I'd love a tutorial of this.

  • 0:06 challenge accepted

    1:18 fuck yeah

  • "Bender"? futurama robot? :)

  • Worth watching it...Congratulations excellent job, plus it clearly shows how neat is Blender's Physics and Game Engine...... Thumbs Up !

  • lol this is awesome

  • Wow. This is awesome xD. You should totally get more views...
