the show was absolutely amazing. i was lucky enough to see it before it closed with the amazing cast. it was a beautiful work of musical theatre art.

She is not in any way shape or form better than Marin. Marin's control, the beauty and control of her tone, and her fullness it's jut uncomparable. Christiane is "good" but she doesn't have the maturity as an actressn nor a singer in her voice in order to portray the character as wholesome and as suppressed as Mother should be and was played by Marin. Not even a close second. hardly worthy of an argument.

It's great that the show has extended an extra week but the producers are being unfair to fans who bought a ticket to the 1/03 performance. Ticketmaster is not issuing exchanges, citing the producer's agreement.
