KI4NRP Jonathan a vol skywarn storm spotter Please inbox me anyone in this area! I am getting a stationary spotting team together for the 2012 storm season a long term thing. to build many friendships in louisville area and all over. nice! video 2011 what a f ed up year for tornadoes and violent weather. Louisville, ky really all and all made it out without a scratch in comparison to other places in the US such as out west.

@eightballbank sadly at some point i feel Our luck may run out this year in louisville ky area, 2012 looks to be a 3 peat year for violent weather already shaping up.

I was downtown this day and witnessed 5 separate funnel clouds touchdown and then go back up into the clouds.

Great Vids, I saw on one of your others you use a Sony cx110. I tip to help with focus is switch to landscape and it wont do the refocus through the glass or switch the focus to manual / infinity. I use a sony 1cx10 and had the same issues.

awesome vid! I wish i was there, i live in washington state and we NEVER get tornados all we get is rain and wind here. i have never seen one in person befor. Thanks for sharing.

@zangy99 There were 4 confirmed tornado's in Louisville that night. 1 hit Churchill downs and near Cardinal stadium. and 3 different places in the suburbs of Louisville.

@kycruisecrazy I go to school at itt tech on ormsby station road out in the st mathews area and I saw the wall cloud that contained the tornado pass by my school.. Massive rotation, thankfully it was a rather weak tornado....
