  • How wonderful to hear this in french !! You have lovely rich vocals and it is a delight to hear you sing :0)

  • Thank you for your nice comment

    Patrice

  • your voice is very very pure ,beautiful as same as your guitar play,or i perhaps love your pure voice than your guitar ?!

  • thank you for your comment hideshikibi.

Generally, I prefer my guitar than my voice.

  • Tres bien... I like the 'fluidity' of your guitar playing... everything blends together without seams.

  • Thank you Warren.

I visites your youtube space, and I like very much your music.

    Patrice

  • How great you put this beautiful song as a reaction to mine, thank you very much.

I cannot speak French very well, but do you have the French text of the song? (If you don't want to, it is also okay, Patrice!)

  • Thank you Twirretwarre.

The french text is a poem from friend of mine, adapted tothis melody.

Give me your mail adress, and I'll send it to you.

  • Another wonderful tune.

Is that a Sure 57 microphone?

How are you inputing it into the computer?

  • Thank you Trevorm,

It's a SM58, connected to a external sound cart, and to my PC.

  • Beautiful playing and singing in the same time with this leading guitar seems always difficult to me.

I like it very much. Thank you.

I listened to another song, and can understand your reaction about your voice in the low tones, but I think this one sounds really good too!

  • Thank you very much for your comment Twirretwarre.

  • Thank you very muuch mmcs122,

Anyway I dont't like my too low voice on this song.

    Patrice

  • Patrice- you have the greatest style..you make playing seem effortless! Your voice has a beautiful tone, as well! ***** ;)

  • excellent! this is one is classic and 1 of my favourite songs, its the 1st time i hear it in french.

Do you know the version (country/folk) of this song as sung on Lillith Fair by Sarah McLachlan, Jewel Kilcher, Amy Rae and Emily Saliers? It has a great a capella ending and a good guitar solo.

    merci

  • Thank you Lapzjen, the french words have been writen by a friend of mine,I don't know the version you're speaking to me. A famous french singer whose name is Renaud, used also this tune with rench words he wrote.

  • wonderful rendition of this old time classic folk song.great job!!!

  • merci Jean Claude;

    Merci

  • bravo patrice, tres belle chanson, finement accompagnee

  • Very Nice Pat. Thanks for sharing. Bobby
