@Behonkiss lol I was just thinking the same thing. Even when I was a kid I would always be like "wtf just happened" when this sequence happened. Gotta admit it is very impressive animation. You definitely don't stuff like this anymore.

@venom160 Yeah, for better and for worse. I wish there were more regular music videos this trippy but it doesn't belong in mainstream animated films at all unless it's a little more consistent in its style (Almost There from Princess and the Frog is a good example).

This part tripped me out so bad as a child. Watching it again I can see some influence from Picasso, Dali and a little Escher. Plus some good ol' 80's pizazz (I know it was 1990, but we were JUST coming out of the 80's. The style was still prevalent!). Oh, childhood... we had it good.

My god, this is my fav part of this film, besides the part where "Stayin Together" plays. The animation in this scene is so funky and well put for this song. I love nostalgia such as this! It sucks that most music of today does not really measure up to this type in my opinion. Anyway, I appreciate this throwback to my childhood, such good times it was! I also love the rap version of the Jetsons theme in the ending.
