  • Sorry, but we no longer have the sheet music. I think it's available for free on line.

  • Hi there I am learning quite a few instruments and want to play this song. I have a C tin whistle, will this do or do I need a Bb

  • Hi. This can be played on a whistle in any key without changing the fingering. That's one of the grand things about the instrument.

    Thanks for watching.

  • Comme c'est beau, je vois les elfes descendre des hautes collines boisées. merci beaucoup, bisous de la France :-)

  • It is people like you, Megan and Will who make this a magnificent site. And waht a lovely tune whoeber plays it. Go maire tú i bhfad.

  • OK Megan maybe it is unfair to make the comparison with James Galway. But When I listen to Galways Last Rose of Summer, I am so enthralled that I don't want to hear any other.

But I didn't really mean it as a nasty put down to your friend.. You have made far more positive contributions to the website than I have. Keep it up,

  • Don't worry about it. I didn't take your comment as a put down. We all do what we do to the best of our abilities. Some people are better at some things than at others; that's life.

Will was not a musician, but he dearly loved making music to the best of his ability. As he was fond of saying, "Surely, that must count for something."

    Peace be with you.

  • Fair play. But he is no James Galway

  • Fair enough. Few of us ARE James Galway - except for James Galway, of course. But then, Sir James also had lessons, is a musician, reads music, and has played his instrument for more than a year. Will has done none of that. But they both shared a love of the tunes. Thanks for watching and commenting.
