franz hopper is the guy that created lyoko. Aelita is his daughter and when they both went to lyoko somebody turned off the supercomputer and aelita was there and Franz got lost somewhere in lyoko.I think that is right dunno :)

Well, heres a theory. See, the french series had an episode 53 season finale where Jeremie has to go to a special school for 2 months, Aelita goes into Lyoko to try and contact him, and the others stay behind to guard against ZANA. Since this episode is NOT what they had in mind for the season in America, Cartoon Network is probably working to change the storyline a bit and will most likely start with what is actually episode 54, editing out that little thing i just detailed above.
