@brianlongshore pente de ferro é uma forma muita antiga usado em cabo verde para esticar o cabelo ...e vazulina quer dizer vaselina, ou seja, as meninas esticavam o cabelo com um pente de ferro que aqueciam e usavam a vaselina para ficar melhor arranjado .. e quando diz praia quer mesmo dizer a cidade da praia capital de cabo verde, bjinhuxxx

"vazulina" is a hair cream

that the capeverdian used, and continue to use, to straighten their hair (the most of cverdian have curled hair) with "pente de ferro quente" wich means hot iron comb, its an old technique they used in the old days(60's, 70's , 80's), because CV is a poor country they didnt had enough techonology.
