@isantamies2 some of them were in places that stopped the transformation. for instance waspinator fell in the cr tank at the start of season 2.

@deziboy5150 long story short. maximals/preds ended up in a time warp that landed them on earth before the autobots awoke and started fighting the decepticons. so yes the autobots/decepticons came first. time line stuff can be confusing but this one is rather simple to understand.
