I've always loved this commercial! Even though I hated the fact that Apple was going with Intel. This commercial made me feel better that Apple was going to show the disease carrying PC how to do it.

To clear out any misconceptions: Apple would've stayed with PowerPC if it wasn't for the douchebags at IBM. Intel sucks, Apple knew that, but IBM wasn't keeping up their end of the deal (IBM couldn't fathom that they'll switch to intel at all, they thought it would ruin everything) so apple started testing out intel chips on macs around 2004, they worked remarkably well and boom macs have wintel chips -.-

Apple always insult PCs but they've managed to make a good market divide. Now, when a product is launched "for your PC" people doubt it's compatibility with Mac, so the makers label it "for Mac + PC" highlighting the Mac range of computers as separate. Genius.

they switch to intel cos the G5 was not suitable for notebooks thats why there was never a Powerbook G5, it would have been like 9'' thick, the core duo and core 2 duo are optimized for notebooks as well as desktops

I think you're referring to Kiefer Sutherland. He's done a handful of voice overs for commercials like Verizon, MCI, and Ford in the past few years. I didn't know who he was when this commercial first aired. I became a 24 fan later, and now I recognized his voice in the commercial during the 2006 Macworld Keynote Address I watched last night.
