It's a unique Volvo characteristic, I like it personally. And if you turn them outward and try to wash your windshield, it shoots cleaner about 5 feet in front of your car!! Haha.

Alright, I have an 01 s40 1.9T and I've searched high and low for body kits-can't find any anywhere! If anyone knows where I can find some it would be a great help. I've also been looking for turbo pipes and they only make those for the T5's apparently. If anyone has sites that sells mods for the 01 s40 I'd appreciate it

The cars look better in person, my buddy and I both have 2005 S40s, mine is a T5 his is a 2.4i. I have the evolve kit on mine and he has work done by heico... pretty much identical body work... mine just goes faster :-)

Yaay! I got a D5 SE now ! Its plush , solid and ready to tune. I looked at the tuning options and you can get more torque power from the D5 than you can from the s60R (starting at 450 nm upto and over 500nm like a Camero .... no all wheel drive though so you must know how to put the power through the wheels.

I don't agree. BMW may last less because usually people who buy them demand a lot more from their cars (sport drive). Mercs and Volvos are usually used more calmly. But BMWs are very realiable too they have some really nice petrol engines, specially the 6 in line.

Blame marketing;Volvos make faster cars then your average BMW, AUDI and most of all mercedes.

Spend just £1000 and even the baby s60 2 ts (not even a Ts let alone an R) - will be faster then most of them.

It will look more rare also and has more style and people wont Key the paintwork when they see it!
