Sidoh's actually really easy if you spam increase and defense, then keep pummeling him with regular attacks. Don't forget to heal every time you're around 100 health though :P

It wasn't Malroth in the early games, it was Sidoh. Just as it wasnt Mortamor, it was Deathtamoor.

What are you talking about? It was Malroth in the original Dragon Warrior II for NES. :(

sidoh is ABSOLUTELY DAMNED FINAL BOSS EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! can do instense flame twice in two turn in a row where only prince lorasia survive.
next turn: two combo attack: beaten.

Yes, he was a complete asshole in this version. Especially considering what you had to go through prior to fighting him.
Funny thing is in the SFC remake, he had only 1 turn per round, but more health.

Quick tip. Try casting Stopspell on Hargon. I know from first hand experience he's pretty much a pushover after that.
and uh, there's a typo in the description...

well, it was my first time fightin him, and immoe of an offensive guy not much of a spell caster XD

isn't that odd? usually bosses let alone final boss is immune to stopspell.

Yeah, it is odd, you'd expect more from a final boss. Malroth/Sidoh can't be StopSpelled though.

almost all spells like sleep,stopspell can effect on him. but the chances are almost lower than 5%
