Zetterberg is unreal, one of the most underrated players in the game and same with Datsyuk. Everyone knows they're good but they are two of the best in the NHL.

He's a heck of a hockey player. No one in their right mind can say that Crosby is better than him. No one in their right mind can look past the fact that Zetterberg did a heck of a job at shadowing Crosby. It was great to watch and one of the best shadow preformances i've seen in quite some time. You can't get much better then Zetterberg!
Seriously....when it comes to being a defensive forward I think Hank has Datsyuk beat. He's not as flashy and a thief like Datsyuk, but night in and night out Hank shuts down the opposing teams superstar. Just look at this year's playoffs, all while ending up averaging over 1 point a game.
You've got a point but It's hard for me to say who's the better defensive forward. I mean Pav's so good at taking the puck away & being in the right spot defensively almost always & scoring big goals but what Hank was able to do against Crosby this year was unbelievable. We all saw it. Everyone new Hank shut him down. Heck even Crosby knew it. He was able to do that all & score big goals as well. So it's definately arguable who's a better defensive forward. But both belong in the conversation.
datsyuk beats him defensively by a mile, the take aways i think is an exclamation mark itself in my opinion, and i think the vast majority would agree especially on the fact that he won the selke trophy while zetterberg was not even nominated

I think Sid is a great player especially for his age.I agree they wouldn't have wasted Z's talent on Crosby if he wasn't an amazing hockey player.But I don't think the fact that Sid didn't shadow Z proves anything.
