  • Jungle Jazz strikes at the heart of Johanna lovers everywhere!

  • People forget that there was a Black Renaissance in America in the 70's - Eldrige Cleaver & the Black Panthers fought the negative stereotypes of blackness with the whole "Black is Beautiful" attitude, and there was a cultural re-embrace of Africa as the Mother Land, not the Dark Continent - there was a flourishing of black music - think of Stevie Wonder and his Talking Book LP, that seemed to be the beginning - embracing the Black heritage, that's why the 70's had quality - & it was a relief

  • Back before "disco" was saturday night fever, Real music was played like this! Fun! everybody had a good time, free, lots of women, pull you to the dance floor, just because they wanted to dance. Good ole' club days.12" recordings & hot as he[[,[ women too!] but some of the best fun of my youth. No guns used, just fists. We had em' but didn't need to use em'. too busy enjoying life!

  • @broodyart Very nice comment. Greetings fm Italy

  • This groove was used in the American Express commercial . The animals in the clip were having a party. They were grooving on someone elses dime. Excellent tune.

  • Happy New Year, This classic is still hitting.

  • Wow!!!!! I love Jungle Boogie... First heard this break on a track called "The Funnies" by Luke Vibert.... it just came up on a search for break samples.. so checked out this original track & flipping heck!! When that flute came in followed by the bassline a tripple whammy of Satisfaction!
